OBITUARY

Mathias “Mok” Molek, 84 of Daisytown, PA died Thursday, March 26, 2015 in his home.
He was born March 6, 1931 in Washington County a son of the late Mike and Mary Lopushansky Molek.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War.
With over 35 years of service, Mr. Molek worked as a mechanic for Dravo, Inc., Charleroi, PA until his retirement.

He was a member of the Bentleyville American Legion Post #165, the Independent Club of Bentleyville, the Polish Club of Bentleyville, the Bentleyville Eagles, the Cokeburg Moose and the Lithuanian Club of Bentleyville. 
Mr. Molek loved music and after his retirement was a local DJ performing at clubs, picnics, weddings and special events and was known as the Rockin’ Polish Hillbilly.
Surviving are one daughter, Pam Molek-Watts (Mark) of Monessen, PA; three sons, Matt Molek, Jr. and Jeff Molek of Bentleyville, PA and Bradley Molek (Debbie) of Lindenwold, NJ; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; six sisters, Rose Lutes of Stockdale, PA, Betty Miller of Charleroi, PA, Patty Leyda Hellman of Smock, PA, Judy Stringhill of Belle Vernon, PA, Margie Gibino of Lover, PA and Verna Molek of Coal Center, PA; four brothers, Andy Molek of Charleroi, PA, Frank and Joe Molek of Coal Center, PA and John Molek of California, PA and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents are a son, Steve Molek, infant daughter Kimberly Molek; brother, Amos Molek and two sisters, Dolores Galamb and Lillian Zundel.

Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, PA where a Blessing Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 with Rev.
